Adaptive Learning Program for NDIS Students in Schools

Adaptive Learning That Meets Riverland Students Where They Are

We understand that every student learns differently—especially when living with a disability. That’s why our Adaptive Learning Pathways in Schools (ALPS) program is built to support NDIS participants through a flexible approach that’s as unique as they are, whether that’s in the classroom or off-site at our dedicated Recreation Hub.

Our Riverland team works closely with educators to deliver customised learning support that fits naturally within the school day. We also provide off-site sessions when needed, offering students a calm, supportive environment to focus on key learning and life skills. Whether it’s reading, social confidence, or practical skills, our goal is to help each student thrive at their own pace.

Adaptive Learning Support in Riverland Schools

We know how challenging traditional classroom settings can be for students with unique learning needs. That’s why our approach is hands-on, flexible, and designed around the individual.

We support NDIS participants across the Riverland with:

  • Literacy and numeracy skill development

  • Social communication and confidence building

  • Adaptive technology integration and guided use

  • Focus, engagement, and learning independence

  • Flexible session locations, including in-school settings and our dedicated Recreation Hub

Our team collaborates with schools and families to make learning accessible, meaningful, and empowering for every student.

“Our student looks forward to her ALPS mentoring days with Support & Connect each week. We have seen a noticeable positive impact on her overall wellbeing and learning. A notable change we have observed is in her resilience, particularly during games. Where she once found it challenging to cope with losing, she can now participate with a positive attitude and even congratulate her peers—something we’d worked on with her mentors. This program is amazing and has so many meaningful outcomes for our student, which continues to support her social and emotional development. We strongly endorse this for other schools or organisations..”

How Our Adaptive Learning Program Works

Every student is different—and so is the way they learn. That’s why we’ve built a flexible, school-based program that adapts to individual needs and funding situations.

We work with:

  • NDIS participants with funding across various categories, including Core and Capacity Building supports

  • Schools who identify students needing additional learning support

  • Support coordinators and educators who want to trial new ways of engaging students

Together, we tailor the learning experience, set goals, and track progress—whether it’s NDIS-funded or school-backed.

It’s adaptive support designed to fit into the classroom—not disrupt it.

What Makes Our Adaptive Learning Program Different?

We’re not just delivering a program—we’re changing the way learning support fits into a student’s life. Our approach is flexible, collaborative, and always tailored to the individual.

Here’s what sets us apart:

  • We deliver support in schools and off-site – so students can learn where they feel safe, settled, or best supported

  • We partner with educators – working closely with schools to complement classroom learning

  • We create personalised learning plans – designed to evolve as the student grows

  • We focus on connection, not just content – building trust to improve learning outcomes

  • We welcome both NDIS and school-funded students – offering inclusive access to support in a way that suits each student

You won’t find a one-size-fits-all program here. We meet students and schools where they’re at and walk the journey with them.
